Practicing Our Faith

The Office of Campus Ministry aims to provide a variety of programs and activities that enrich the spiritual lives of the students at Bishop Ireton.

By fostering an encounter with Jesus through the sacraments, retreats, service, and prayer, Campus Ministry proudly proclaims the truth and good news of Jesus Christ risen from the dead. With Christ at the center of everything we do, we seek to strengthen the life of faith at Bishop Ireton. Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist in our campus chapel, and from Him we learn the true meaning of sacrificial love and service. Our Catholic faith extends to the other aspects of our campus, including the classroom, our athletic, theater, and music programs, and our clubs. Following the teachings of the Catholic Church and under the guidance of the Bishop of the Diocese of Arlington, we strive for truth and holiness through our teaching and example. Campus Ministry forms students to be faithful witnesses of their faith at school and beyond.

Bishop Ireton has supported me in my faith by having so many opportunities to grow closer to Christ. Whether it be going on retreats or offering daily Mass, it has helped me to ultimately gain a much deeper understanding of my faith.
